Cartmel Fell Parish Bonfire & Fireworks

Lantern Procession

We will start as is tradition at the Parish Hall at 6pm, where the children's lantern procession will take the Guy from the Hall down to the bonfire, and the fire is then lit. After that, the fireworks display will start.

Fireworks Display

You can just watch the fireworks, or stay and have the Hotpot Supper & Homemade Puddings, around 7pm.

Please note - hot drinks are not available this year but there will be mulled wine and a cash bar.

Pumpkin Carving

We've had some fantastic ideas on display for the last couple of years.

Everyone is welcome to enter - your pumpkin could shine, literally!

Hotpot Supper

Our delicious hotpot supper is served around 7pm and a selection of home made desserts will be available. The vegetarian option will be cheese & onion pie; please let us know if you would like us to save you some.

ALL BOOKINGS HAVE NOW CLOSED. The ticket allocation has now been sold, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone that has booked.

Parking and access

Parking is limited at the event, and there will be many pedestrians around. Please allow extra time for accessing the site and parking.

A one-way system will be in operation, with access only from the top of the site (Height road end) going downhill towards the hall. There will be no access from the bottom road.

Priority for parking at the Hall will be given by the stewards to those with accessibility needs. Please lift share if you can, and park a little further away. Wherever you park, please make sure the roads remain clear for emergency vehicles.
